A couple days ago our friend Matt asked us if we had time to make him and his friends some custom shirts to wear to a Taylor Swift concert. We said, "Sure, what did you have in mind?". He sent us the copy and an example of how he wanted it to look and we literally thought it was one of the most clever shirts we've ever seen.
The next day they were printed and they looked like THIS:
Shortly after, I posted a photo of these on our Facebook page, stating that I was thoroughly entertained and these were some of the best custom shirts we've ever printed. We got a few likes. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Late last night I was about to go to sleep and my phone rang. I saw it was a random number and let it go. Suddenly, 3 more calls right in a row. I thought to myself that this was odd, so I checked my email. The subject of the emails were "FUCK YOU" and "OFFENSIVE TAYLOR SWIFT SHIRT - TAKE IT DOWN!". Suddenly I realized what was happening:
I was being attacked...by SWIFTIES.
Now if you don't know, Taylor Swift fans calls themselves "Swifties", and they're pretty much a full on gang of kids who will call you and text you and tweet you and email you until you do whatever the hell they want. In this case, they wanted us to "take down" our "extremely offensive" Taylor Swift shirt or they would make our lives "a living hell."
I woke up this morning to 70+ emails, 20+ calls, 12 texts and about 9 BILLION tweets, all from Swifties threatening to burn Bad Kids to the ground if we did not comply with their wishes.
Well GUESS WHAT Swifties? Your heads are about to explode...because we're officially putting these babies on sale! This shirt shall be named "The Doherty&" after the man who requested it be made, and it's going on sale right about...MEOW!
